Celebrate the Sakura Festival at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai this month

Cherry blossom festivals, also known as ‘Hanami’ are held all over Japan during the spring to celebrate the blooming of the Sakura flower. Moreover, it is also said that the origin of Hanami dates back more than 100 decades where the aristocrats had enjoyed looking at beautiful cherry blossoms and wrote poems inspired by them.

The Sakura Festival menu at the Wasabi by Morimoto will be specially curated by Master Chef Shimomura Kazuya which will include delicacies that are enjoyed in Japanese homes in an effort to share this celebratory tradition.
